Tracey Rowe - Human Resources Director, Investec
Tracey joined Investec as Head of Human Resources in October 2005. She previously spent four years at JP Morgan as HR Director and the six years previously to that at Deutsche Bank and UBS (London) in Human Resources.
Tracey holds a Masters Degree in Leadership in Performance and Change from University of Johannesburg. Tracey does photography in her spare time, and is currently training for her first half iron man in January 2011. She is married to Bruce and has a son, Jack, who is five years old.
Alastair Dooley - Divisional Director - Financial: City Lodge Hotel Group
Alastair is a qualified accountant, having obtained his B.Com Hons. Acc. Sci. degree from the University of Pretoria. He was with KPMG for 9 years, having completed his training contract with the firm, before joining the City Lodge Hotels group. During this time he was also involved in graduate recruiting and marketing for more than 4 years.
Alastair is passionate about people and particularly about the development of youth in our country. Through his involvement in recruiting, he believes that he is able to contribute to the development of our nation.
Alastair enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his new family. He is also involved in community lifesaving and loves going to the theatre.
Ntwani Shilubane- Talent Manager, Unilever SA
Ntwani holds a BCom Honours in Industrial Psychology and currently completing her MCom from UJ. Ntwani began her career in the Soft Drinks Division of SAB as a graduate trainee within the Human Resource function, and then moved into Learning and Development before moving to Unilever where she has recently taken over the talent management portfolio.
Ntwani is fortunate to work for an organisation that believes that Talent management is a key driver for business success. The talent agenda takes key focus in Unilever where their people are attracted, selected and developed to become future leaders in a business that is truly global.
Ntwani enjoy reading, dancing and listening to music, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Faiyad Abrahams – HR Manager: Sub-Sahara Africa, Baker Hughes.
After graduating from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2001 (then Cape Technikon), Faiyad has gained experience in both the public and private sectors. With a wealth of HR Generalist experience on both National and International levels, Faiyad currently Heads up the HR Organisation with Baker Hughes for the Sub-Sahara Africa region. A company that provides products and professional services to the Oil & Gas industry.
Faiyad spends most of his time with his family, as well as he is an avid sports enthusiast and more recently, has a focus on extreme sports.
Jason Davies – Head of Talent, KPMG
Jason has recently rejoined KPMG as Head of Talent after starting and running an Interim Executive business. Prior to starting this business, Jason spent over 9 years at KPMG originally qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and then moving into Human Resources with stints in Learning and Development, Transformation and Diversity and ultimately heading up KPMG’s People, Performance and Culture unit.
Jason then spent time leading KPMG’s People and Change Advisory service offering to clients before deciding to go out on his own.
Jason enjoys all sports and spends most of his free time on the tennis court or with his family. He is married to Michelle and they have three young children who keep them very busy.
